Weather Tracker - How to use the Weather Tracker

The Weather Tracker
The Weather Tracker sits on your desktop wherever you choose. The temperature will also appear in your
taskbar. Right clicking on the application gives an option panel that allows you to change how the
Tracker looks and behaves.

Installation for Windows
Please ensure that you do not have the weather Tracker application running during the installation of the new version.
After clicking on the PC download option, you will be asked to either "run" or "save" the file.
Choose "run" which will take you to the Tracker Setup Wizard. This may take a few minutes depending on your
connection speed.
Follow the prompts to finish the installation. The Tracker will launch a preferences panel for you to enter
your location or postcode plus setup any alerts. A shortcut icon will be added to the desktop and the taskbar
temp will display.

Click on preferences from the options panel or on the location name to set your preferences for:
- Window behaviour
- Position Normally
- Always on Top
- Always on Bottom
- Update frequency
- 10 minutes
- 20 minutes
- 60 minutes
- Pause Updating
- Interface colour
- Weatherzone
- Black
- Blue
- Green
- Lime
- Purple
- Red
- Sea Green
- Smokey
- White
- Interface transparency
- System tray background colour
- Transparent
- White
- Black
- System Tray Text Colour
- Show minimum temperature
- Show weather warnings

- 16 000+ available locations
- Allow receipt of weatherzone and third party messages
- When ticked allows the receipt of weatherzone and third party messages
- Include international locations
- Allows search of international locations available

Weather Display
The Weather Tracker can be placed anywhere on the desktop and in its compact form, displays the current
temperature in degrees C plus today's forecast minimum and maximum temperatures.
Place the cursor over the large weather icon for a display of all the current conditions for your location.

More Weather
To expand the Weather Tracker and access more information, click on the down arrows, one under the large
temperature number and the other next to 'MORE WEATHER'.
The expanded weather option gives you a total 7 day forecast, with icons and maximum temperatures.
'MORE WEATHER' lets you access satellite, radar, a local weather page, warnings and marine weather
linking through to www.weatherzone.com.au.

Uninstall for Windows
To uninstall the Weather Tracker you can do any of the following
- Start -> All Programs -> Weatherzone Tracker -> uninstall, or
- C:Program Files\Weatherzone Tracker\ or where you chose to install it. Open the file "unins000", or
- Start -> Control Panel -> Add or Remove Programs -> Weather Tracker, then click the remove button.
